Off of this album, the hit tracks “Come”, “Give” and “Would You Go” launched and took their world by storm. Forced to be independent due to the lack of support coming from major record companies, Urbandub released their debut album called BIRTH. but first, here's their myspace with a few tracks, and a biography.įrom the very first day that this band was formed (in the year 2000), they were destined to be something more than the ordinary. I'll give you a tracklisting to aid you in your search. I eventually found their tracks on one of the more "well known" filesharing systems (Limes are often tasty.?). My girlfriend (who happens to be Filipino) introduced me to 'em, but as she only had a few of their songs, I had to go scouring the net to find a download. All of their songs sound and feel different, yet have the same vibe - it's hard to explain. They have a sound ranging from 311 to Jimmy Eat World to Alice in Chains, and sometimes even Incubus. It's really difficult to pin a genre on this band, but progressive rock seems to fit for most of their songs. Before you click away because it's "foreign" music, every one of their songs is in English. They are hardly known internationally, but quite large in the indie rock scene over there. This band is very difficult to find, as they're from Cebu, Phillippines and basically the only place to get their albums is there.
